Dear Esteemed Supporters and Compassionate Friends,

In the heart of Afghanistan, a nation resilient in the face of countless challenges—enduring decades of war, navigating political transformations, grappling with droughts, and adapting to climate shifts. Amidst these adversities, millions have been thrust into extreme poverty. Yet, within the ebb and flow of these difficulties, we staunchly believe in the transformative power that emanates when people unite with a shared vision of positive change.

Embarking on a three-year journey, we've traversed the landscapes of Afghanistan, leaving a tangible impact on the lives of 2,000 individuals. Through an array of projects spanning farming, job training, education, nutrition, and livelihood improvement, we've sought to uplift communities across the nation.

Afghanistan confronts multifaceted challenges, but within this dynamic landscape, Global Roots for Life Organization (GRLO) strategically responds to adversities. Our unwavering commitment is anchored in keeping the promises we've made. Over the past three years, we've demonstrated our ability to assist vulnerable populations and communities. Unfortunately, the shadows of poverty have deepened due to political shifts and the recent pandemic. To confront these challenges head-on, we are compelled to launch innovative projects addressing the root causes of poverty and inequality.

GRLO stands resolute in providing immediate aid to those in need while concurrently forging pathways for long-term opportunities that cultivate sustainable growth. For over three years, we've collaborated with local heroes, extending a helping hand to communities ravaged by war, poverty, famine, and disease. Through the unification of communities, GRLO has become a trusted local partner in the journey towards resilience and progress.

As an integral part of the development community, GRLO collaborates with local and international partners, UN agencies, and other stakeholders on the ground. Our collective mission is to uplift marginalized communities in Afghanistan, guiding them through the transitions induced by recent economic recessions, political changes, and the pervasive effects of climate change.

In unity and determination,

Mirza Mohammad Wahaj
